The low-cost airline JetBlue has recently announced new flights to a popular European destination: Amsterdam.
The New Routes to Amsterdam will depart from New York starting August 29, and Boston starting September 20.
It is the carrier’s third transatlantic destination, and, to celebrate, JetBlue is offering tickets at a very affordable price.
American travelers can purchase Core tickets (the carrier’s economy cabin seats) for just $479 roundtrip and Mint tickets (the carrier’s business class) for $1,899 roundtrip.
The airline is now offering transatlantic routes to London, Paris, and Amsterdam. JetBlue had previously announced the possibility of serving direct flights to Amsterdam, but now it is certain, and the itineraries are ready.
Here’s The Itinerary
JetBlue is offering direct flights from two major U.S. cities with comfortable itineraries. Both flights take around 7 hours to reach the European destination.
Connecting New York And Amsterdam
From New York City, the route departs from the John F. Kennedy International Airport and arrives at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Starting on August 29, travelers will have daily flights departing at 10:00 pm from New York and arriving at 11:35 am the next day in Amsterdam.

From Amsterdam, the first service begins on August 30, and the daily flights will depart at 1:35 pm and arrive in New York at 4:00 pm the same day.
Connecting Boston And Amsterdam
The daily services from Boston to Amsterdam offered by JetBlue will begin on September 20.
The new route departs from Boston Logan International Airport and arrives at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).
From Amsterdam, the first service of the new route departs on September 21. The flights will depart at 11:35 am and will arrive in Boston at 2:00 pm.
Both routes will be served on JetBlue’s Airbus A321 Long Range (LR) aircraft. This airplane has 24 redesigned seats for the Mint experience and 114 core seats.
What’s Included In The Price?
Those taking advantage of the affordable tickets already for sale must consider what’s included in the price.
The Core tickets starting at $479 roundtrip will be available on the carrier’s official website.
Travelers purchasing the Blue Basic tickets will get comfortable seats, access to the carrier’s new menu—including the build your hot meal experience—, a blanket, entertainment, and a carry-on bag included.
Those who purchase Blue or Blue extra tickets will also have a checked bag and advanced seat selection.
The Mint tickets starting at $1,899 provide access to JetBlue’s premium experience, including lie-flat seats, boarding priority, artisanal dining, and two checked bags.
