From 30 October 2023, Star Alliance member LOT Polish Airlines will add Rome Fiumicino to its global route network from Warsaw Chopin Airport. India-originating passengers can fly with LOT Polish Airlines from Delhi and Mumbai to Warsaw and then, after a short stopover, conveniently continue to their onward destination in the Eternal City of Rome.
The new daily flights connect Warsaw Chopin Airport with Rome Fiumicino (FCO). Passengers from Mumbai (Sundays and Wednesdays) and Delhi (Fridays) can for example seamlessly connect in Warsaw:
Travelling from Mumbai to Rome (Sundays and Wednesdays)
Departure from Mumbai at 8:40h, arrival in Rome at 18:40h local time; 14:30 hours total travel time including 3:20 hours stopover in Warsaw
Travelling from Delhi to Rome (Fridays)
Departure from Delhi at 7:00h, arrival in Rome at 18:40h local time; 16:10 hours total travel time including 4 hours stopover in Warsaw
On the other days of the week, LOT Polish Airlines departs Warsaw at 7:15h in the morning, arriving in Rome at 9:25h local time, hence ideal for those guests with a stopover in Poland. All flights are operated with modern, fuel-efficient Boeing 737MAX8 aircraft. LOT Boeing 737MAX8 aircrafts include 186 seats in a two-cabin configuration (LOT Business Class and LOT Economy Class) including complimentary on-board service in Economy Class. The Boeing 737MAX8 cabin features the Boeing Sky Interior concept with ergonomically designed seats, eye-friendly lighting, and spacious luggage compartments.
Amit Ray, Director India, DACH markets and Italy, and Head of Global Corporate and Strategic Sales at LOT Polish Airlines: “We are delighted to add the new service from Warsaw to Rome to our global network and thus offering our guests from India a completely new Star Alliance travel option with us. The close business relations between Italy and India needed more capacity for the Indian outbound market and Rome has always been a key leisure destination.”
