The new app called The EXP Miami Beach Tours was developed by the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA) as an extension of the Experience Miami Beach App.
Sunseekers now have interesting tour options and recommendations curated by locals and experts with interesting ideas on what to do and where to go, including events, museums, street art, restaurants, and bars.
Now that Floridians can go from Orlando to Miami in just three hours by using the new and fastest train in the United States, there are even more options to get to this iconic American destination.
And Miami has so much to offer besides wonderful beaches.

Christopher Rollins, Chair of the MBVCA, explained that the new app has been designed to help travelers easily plan their next vacation, since Miami offers so much more than just perfect weather and gorgeous beaches.

Rollings said: “We anticipate a strong summer tourism season and travelers can identify the sites and experiences they prefer before they even arrive, leaving more time for them to enjoy the many offerings of Miami Beach.”
The Tours Available
Once users have downloaded the app, they can see which tour they find attractive and download more details to start planning their visit.
Each tour is different and features relevant information like what travelers can expect from the tour as well as location. These are the tours available:
Art In Public Places
This tour has 24 stops and begins with information about Bent Pool in Pride Park, including Sonic Dreamspaces’s installation and fountains like Save Our Reefs.
Cultural Institutions Tour
According to the information shared in the app, Miami Beach has 15 world-class art museums. This tour helps visitors engage with the community and cultural spaces.
LGBTQ Sites Top Five
For this tour, three local experts share their recommendations.
On this tour, travelers will find guidance on the best places to visit, such as the LGBT Visitors Center and Historic City Hall; The Betsy Hotel, which offers multiple LGBT and gay-friendly events, or restaurant suggestions like 11th Street Dinner for delicious American comfort food in a great atmosphere.
Hidden Art Tour
This self-guided tour will help travelers discover hidden cultural attractions, works of art, and interesting artifacts.
In collaboration with independent City of Miami Tour Operator George Neary, this tour highlights must-see experiences and interesting places that are constantly evolving.
