Six Flags Entertainment Company is the largest theme park company in the world, as well as the largest operator of water parks in North America.

Six Flags has 27 parks combined in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Millions of visitors come here each year for fun-filled days for the whole family.

Recently, Six Flags announced all of their exciting new thrills for the 2023 season:

Six Flags Great Adventure (Trenton, NJ)

The latest addition to New Jersey’s greatest theme park is Splash Island. Aimed to please the younger crowd, over a dozen new slides and a new treehouse with over 50 fun features will open. This includes miniature slides, waterfalls, and a bucketful of water ready to soak anybody brave enough for the challenge!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio, TX) and Six Flags Over Georgia (Atlanta, GA) 

Both parks are excited to announce new roller coasters! The KID FLASH™ Cosmic Coaster at each park will become the first single-rail racing coaster in the world. With a simplistic single-rail track and roomy seats for both the kids and grownups, this coaster will crisscross and zig-zag throughout the entire ride!

Fiesta Texas is also welcoming a huge new gaming center for e-sports. ESIX Gaming will have at least 50 computer gaming stations and another 5 consoles with the most modern, up-to-date technological features. Expect some intense tournaments on a live stage in this 5,000-square-foot venue!

San Antonio is also home to mega waterpark Hurricane Harbor, which has expanded with thrilling new water slides and slower rides for first-timers.

Atlanta is also home to the biggest water park in the Southeast. Six Flags White Water is happy to debut Caribbean Cove, a brand-new complex with dozens of interactive water games and a handful of water slides for all ages to enjoy.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (San Francisco, CA)

Sloths, butterflies, and fish, oh my!

This park is bringing wildlife up close and personal at the Rainforest Trail. Not only that, the new Shark Experience features an underwater tunnel and an immersive education session to learn more about sea life with a 300,000-gallon exhibit showcasing sharks, colorful exotic fish species, and more!

Six Flags Mexico (Mexico City, MX) 

Those looking for a fun experience south of the border can look no further than Six Flags’ new offerings. Fun Walks will guide guests after hours for more ways to enjoy food and new attractions. Multiple festivals are taking place this year, such as the Héroes y Villanos Fest, Music & Party Fest, and Gaming & Coaster Fest, which allows patrons to enter a virtual world.

Six Flags Over Texas (Arlington, TX)

Sandwiched between the major cities of Fort Worth and Dallas lies the “Thrill Capital of Texas”. Debuting this year is the park’s 14th coaster, AQUAMAN™: Power Wave. A thrilling first-of-its-kind water ride which takes thrill-seekers back and forth along almost half a mile of tracks and up 150-foot towers going a max speed of 63 mph! Of course, it has to end with a grand finale of an insane rush of water!

Six Flags New England (Springfield, MA) 

After guests park the car, they will enter a fun zone with the newest thrill showcasing the latest in animatronics. Dino Off Road Adventure will take guests through an immersive world of giant dinosaurs and provide educational benefits to kids who want to know more about the history of these extinct beasts!

Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, MO)

Self-proclaimed as the “Gateway to Thrills”, new thrills are exactly what’s in store here. Twists and turns on the new Rookie Racer coaster are going to be a blast for the whole family! This new attraction was designed after professional racer courses with crazy loops, sharp turns, and steep drops!

  • It may be Spring Break at school, but it’s Scream Break at Six Flags! This exclusive after-hours event provides guests with shortened wait times for rides, scary haunted houses, and a variety of spooky entertainment that will give everyone goosebumps!
