This Iconic Hotel Is Coming To The Las Vegas Strip
[ad_1]
The skyline in Las Vegas is going to look different for years to come. Recent government approvals will allow a giant 660-foot-tall hotel in the shape of a guitar to become a new highlight of the Strip.
Late last year, the iconic Hard Rock Hotel acquired another well-known Sin City property, The Mirage.
In addition to revamping the existing hotel, this magnificent new guitar-shaped structure will be a sight to behold.
Revamping The Mirage
Official word from Hard Rock is that anyone who wants to book and already has booked their stay at The Mirage will not need to make changes.
The plan is to remain open and under their own name until renovations are complete. As of now, there is no timetable on when that will be except to say it will take “an extended period”.
Guests can expect the on-site shows to remain as scheduled until further notice.
These include:
- Circque Du Soleil
- The Beatles™ LOVE™
- Shin Lim: LIMITLESS
As of now, there is no timetable on when that will be except to say it will take “an extended period”.
Although there are no immediate plans to close down The Mirage, some officials for Hard Rock have stated it is a possibility in the year 2024.
Every aspect of what currently makes The Mirage stand out is going to change in order to match what guests would expect from the Hard Rock brand.

Hard Rock: Las Vegas
Guests can look to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida to get a glimpse of the design of what’s coming to the Vegas Strip.
This Florida resort is also constructed in the shape of a massive guitar. While this resort isn’t quite as flashy as the neon lights of Las Vegas, it will give future guests a small preview of what to expect on a grander scale.
Hard Rock spent over a billion dollars to acquire The Mirage, so expectations are very high!
In addition to a total revamp of the current Mirage hotel and casino, Hard Rock plans to implement a new event venue and feature exciting live entertainment.
A new baccarat lounge will soon open, as well as an increased number of slot machines from 800 to 2000 and over 150 new table games to the casino.
A vacant restaurant space is going to be remodeled into the Plum Lounge, which is an exclusive players’ lounge for Hard Rock’s loyal Unity cardholders.
Those anticipating a stay at this new property should check out the official website of Hard Rock Hotels.
In a recent press release, it was said to look toward the end of 2023 for more updates and project renderings of all the new features and attractions of this new Las Vegas destination.
