What Does The Role Entail

As the resident TikTok creator, you’ll be the brand ambassador for the brand that will be required to create engaging and authentic content for existing Blueground fans while attracting new audiences.

You’ll need to create 15-20 TikToks per month (around 45-60 TikToks in the 3-month timeframe), and you’ll be in charge of the whole creation process, including filming, caption writing, editing, sharing the content, and then promoting and amplifying it.

“Our hope and expectation for this role is that the Resident will create content that will bring personality to the brand and humanize the company for those that aren’t as familiar with Blueground,” said Yorgos Kleivokiotis, Blueground’s Chief Marketing Officer.

As a creator, you’ll be expected to come up with a content strategy that will be engaging and that will offer some fresh new ideas on how you can attract a bigger following. You’ll also be expected to engage with your fellow travel fans on the app and build a strong rapport.

Although you don’t need to be familiar with the brand (although it will help!), you’ll receive a crash course on everything to do with the company and how to bring its furnished rental homes to life on social.

@kashleee Would you take a helicopter from the airport instead of a taxi?? During my last visit to New York City, I got stuck in a taxi for over two hours from the airport to Manhattan 🤯🫣 plus it was almost $200 I heard about helicopters that can do it in under FIVE minutes, for around the same price, so I thought I would try it! My first ride was $195, and $50 bucks off (I know a code for first timers) so it was the same price as Uber, but a fraction of the time. Carry on bag is free, checked costs a hefty extra. The lounge came with free drinks, the 5-min ride had the most breathtaking views of the city, and I was shocked at how smooth and quick everything was 😍😍 This saved me a ton of time and I would do it again in a heartbeat, especially if my flight was coming in or departing around rush-hour. * * * * #helicopter #blade #travellife #avgeek #nycviews #helicopterride #travelhacks #traveltips #nyctips ♬ Sunroof – Nicky Youre & dazy

How Can I Apply

Blueground is treating this job like a real job application, so TikTokers need to submit their application on the Careers page. You will just need to include an attention-grabbing video (think of it as your personalized video pitch) that shares why you’re the best fit for the role and what destinations you would like to explore.

The company also wants to see some glowing case studies, such as your top-performing posts and examples of your engagement rates. You will need to head over to the Careers page and apply no later than April 6.
