Vietnam’s leading new-age carrier, VietJet has announced direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Brisbane, making it the first-ever carrier to fly directly between Vietnam and Queensland. With the airline’s convenient connecting connections, the new route can make it easier for Indians to travel from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and New Delhi to Australia via Ho Chi Minh City.
Offering eight weekly return flights to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, the airline has expanded its flight services from Vietnam to the east coast of Australia. Additionally, starting from September, the frequency of flights between Sydney and Melbourne will be increased.
The airline will operate two flights per week to Brisbane on its A330s aircraft, every Monday and Friday from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:05 (local time) and landing in Brisbane at 21:10 (local time). The return flights will take place on the same days, departing at 23:10 (local time) and landing at Ho Chi Minh City at 04:50 (local time).
Vietjet Chief Operating Officer Michael Hickey said: “Vietjet’s direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Brisbane will ease the travel between the two localities, countries and across the region. Our crew and leaders warmly welcome our passengers on a comfortable, joyful journey with Vietjet.”
Additionally, the airline is offering a fare discount of 50% (*) for its SkyBoss and SkyBoss Business until 30 June 2023. The offer is available for flights from 15 August to 20 December 2023.
