A personal invitation from Jennifer Lopez, the cruise line’s Chief Celebration Officer, is a new A.I. tool available to passengers seeking to persuade relatives or friends to join them on a Virgin Voyages holiday at sea. The project, named Jen A.I., aims to boost holiday travel.
The spot highlights Lopez, who in 2022 established a celebrity partnership with Virgin Voyages that placed her at the focus of the excitement and adventure on board. Celebrations at sea frequently centre on birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, pre-wedding get-togethers, divorce parties, and other events.
With Virgin Voyages’ new Jen A.I., prospective guests may visit the cruise line’s website, click the Curate Your Voyage link on the homepage, and then respond to a few questions, like their preferred celebration, destination, and travelling companions. A customised invitation with a picture of Lopez will then be sent to the intended recipients through email.

Leisure travel has significantly improved over the past several months as the pandemic continues to recede into the background. Cruise passengers and other travellers who in the past were unable to organise or attend festivities now desire to celebrate significant occasions.
Lopez is leading this promotion as Chief Celebration Officer.
“To me, it’s crucial that we pause, take the time to cherish our precious moments, and inspire others to do the same. Lopez added that the past few years have shown us how crucial it is to treasure life’s great moments with your closest friends and family.
Lopez’s relationship with Virgin Voyages covers all aspects of the cruiser experience, from wellness and fitness to design partnerships and onboard performances. The agreement also included the celebrity’s items, such as those sold under the JLo Beauty label.
Lopez is also influencing major on-ship activities and themed cruises. She organised the Limitless Voyage, a cruise through the Caribbean aboard the Scarlet Lady in April 2023 that was advertised as a celebration of women and included more than a dozen lecturers and various onboard activities.
Virgin Voyages operates the Valiant Lady and the brand-new Resilient Lady, which first sailed in May 2023. In late 2023, the Brilliant Lady will join the fleet as the fourth vessel. Each of the four ships can hold 2,770 passengers.
The adult-only cruise company is well-known for its music and entertainment offerings and its unique dining experience, in which passengers dine at a variety of themed restaurants at no extra cost rather than the ship’s main dining room and speciality restaurants.
